Every action that touches money or a customer relationship is a draft by default — Blue prepares it and you approve it before anything goes out. The only things Blue does automatically are internal: detecting unbilled jobs, generating reports, organizing data. If you ever want a workflow demoted from "execute" to "draft" (or off entirely), you flip it instantly. Blue won't ever send money, an email, or a calendar invite without the right level of approval.

Your business data and Blue's memory live on the Mac Mini deployed at your shop — not on our cloud, not on someone else's servers. Your books stay yours, your customer info stays yours, and nothing trains anyone else's AI. We never sell, share, or rent your data. The Mac Mini itself is Forge equipment we provide and maintain — but the data sitting on it is fully yours, and your books, email, and calendar in their source systems are unaffected by the hardware lifecycle.

QuickBooks AI and similar tools live inside one app. They can summarize transactions or answer questions about your books. Blue is different in two ways: (1) Blue actually does the work — drafts invoices, sends quote follow-ups, schedules jobs, files locate tickets — across QuickBooks, email, calendar, and iMessage. (2) Blue learns your specific business — your pricing, your customers, your seasonal patterns, your communication style. ChatGPT can answer general questions; Blue knows your business.

If you cancel: we retrieve the Mac Mini (it's Forge equipment we provide for the duration of your subscription), and your business data — books, customers, history — stays where it always lived: in your QuickBooks, your Gmail, your Google Calendar. Nothing held hostage, nothing destroyed. If Forge ever goes away (we're betting our lives that it doesn't), you still have everything that matters: your accounting, your inbox, your customer relationships. The dependency is on Blue the helper, not on a piece of hardware.

You need to be able to send an iMessage and check QuickBooks. That's it. We install everything during a 2-hour visit. Your crew doesn't need iPhones — they keep doing what they do today. Blue is between you and the business, not between your crew and their work.

One visit to your shop, about 2 hours. We bring a Forge-provided Mac Mini pre-imaged for your business, plug it into power and your network, connect Blue to your QuickBooks and Gmail with one-time logins (we never see your passwords), and walk you through how to text Blue. Once Blue is connected, your morning briefings start arriving and the workflow library goes to work — surfacing unbilled jobs, stale quotes, and overdue invoices that translate to real money recovered.

You do. Blue reports to you, takes direction from you, and learns from you. Forge maintains the underlying workflow library and ships improvements to the on-site Mac Mini automatically — but the day-to-day of Blue is between you, your team, and Blue.

Pricing depends on what you do today, what tools you already have, and how much of your back office Blue will replace versus complement — so we shape the right number on the discovery call rather than guess at it on a webpage. The short version: it's meaningfully less than a part-time bookkeeper, structured month-to-month or annual, with no setup surprises.
