Book a discovery call
AI operations for small businesses

Blue by Forge helps you forge further.

Not a chatbot. An AI that works in your business: it does the work, and it knows your numbers. It drafts the estimate and the invoice, chases what's unpaid, files the 811 ticket, builds the morning sheet, and when the big decision comes, it brings the numbers and a recommendation. Nothing reaches a customer or moves money until you say so.

What it is

Blue by Forge™ runs the business behind the work.

Blue by Forge is an AI operations assistant for small businesses. It drafts quotes, estimates, contracts and invoices, schedules work and appointments, follows up on quotes that have gone quiet, chases unpaid invoices, and answers the owner’s questions about their own jobs, schedule and cash flow. It all happens over ordinary text messages and email, with no new app to learn.

Blue connects to the tools the business already runs on (its email, calendar and accounting) and works inside them. The owner approves anything that reaches a customer or moves money.

Where the hours go

The five places time and money leak today.

None of it is the work you’re good at. All of it lands on the owner’s evenings, or on an office that’s already full.

01 · REVENUE

Work done, no invoice

Jobs finished weeks ago that never made it onto an invoice.

02 · QUOTES

Estimates gone cold

Nobody followed up, so the customer drifted. Deals lost to silence.

03 · AFTER HOURS

The kitchen-table shift

Paperwork, scheduling and email at 9 PM, every week.

04 · CASH

“Are we okay this month?”

No clean look at what’s coming in versus going out.

05 · DECISIONS

The weight of the call

Another crew? Buy the machine? Decided on gut, not numbers.

What Blue does

It does the work, and it knows your numbers.

Every one of these runs today. Your team texts the number they already text. Blue does the work in the systems you already use, and brings the numbers when a decision comes.

An estimate, a signed agreement and a sent invoice beside the text thread that produced them
Quote to cash

Estimate → contract → invoice

One walkthrough by text becomes an estimate in your books, an agreement out for e-signature, a scheduled job and a deposit invoice.

811 locates

Filed, and refreshed before they lapse

Blue proposes the tickets, you approve, it files them, and every Monday it asks which ones to refresh. One reply refreshes the book.

Every workday

The morning sheet builds itself

A text to every foreman, a nudge only to the ones who haven’t answered, and one compiled sheet released before the trucks roll.

What the crew did today, in the office today

Footage, job-done, receipts and delays from a foreman’s text land as clean inputs for billing the same afternoon.

The big calls

The numbers, and a recommendation

Will we hit the number this year? Add a crew? Buy the machine or keep renting? Blue answers from your own books with the numbers and a clear recommendation. You make the call.

How you use it

Just text Blue.

From the truck, the job site or the kitchen table. Blue lives in the thread like any employee, and answers with the work already drafted. Your crew texts the same number. Nobody installs anything.

Why Forge exists

Every owner-run business is on the same climb.

Somewhere around $2M, the work outgrows the evenings, but an operations hire still doesn’t pencil out. Blue is how you grow through that stretch without adding overhead.

STAGE 1

Owner-operator

One truck, great work. The owner is the business.

Blue: quotes out same day, invoices never forgotten.

STAGE 2

Growing crew

Jobs by day, paperwork by night.

Blue: scheduling, follow-ups, cash watch. Nights back.

THE $2M DEAD ZONE

Too big to wing it

Quotes go stale, invoices lag, compliance eats days. Too small for an operations hire.

Blue: the operations team you can actually afford.

STAGE 4

Systems run it

Most never get here.

Blue: the systems came with you.

Forge AI was started in Bargersville, Indiana by Zack and Ashley Kikendall after a big home project put them alongside half a dozen small businesses: hardscape, landscape, construction, fencing, renovation and plumbing. All skilled, all working flat out, all running the back office out of one notebook.

The pattern was the same everywhere: great craftspeople with real room to grow, held back because there weren’t enough hours to get the business side done. They didn’t need another app or a coach. They needed the hours back, and a partner that could help them grow. That’s Blue.

How trust works

Everything is off until you turn it on.

Anything that touches a customer or moves money starts switched off. Blue drafts, you approve, and you turn things on one at a time, at your pace.

STEP 1

Blue drafts

The invoice, the follow-up, the shop ticket. Written and ready, sitting in front of you. Nothing has left the building.

STEP 2

You approve

One word by text: “Send it.” You’re the signature on anything a customer sees or a dollar rides on.

STEP 3

Blue does it

When approving starts to feel like a rubber stamp, you flip that one switch, and only that one.

There’s a record under all of it: what Blue did, when and why, and how to undo it. Your data stays in your own accounts and on a box at your shop. And behind every Blue is Red, our mechanic: Red watches every shop, catches problems early, and ships each fix to every shop at once.

How you start

From first call to first morning briefing.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

We learn your business, your tools and where the hours go, and show you Blue running.

  2. 02

    Proposal

Workflows scoped to your business and a price shaped to it. You review before anything is signed.

  3. 03

    Setup at your shop

About two hours. We install the box, connect your books, email and calendar, and show you how to text Blue.

  4. 04

    Go live

The first briefing arrives, drafts start landing for your approval, and the hours start coming back.

Straight answers

What owners ask first.

Do I or my crew need to learn an app?

No. Blue works over plain text and email. Any phone works, and nobody installs anything. If you can send a text, you can run Blue.

What if Blue makes a mistake?

Anything that touches money or a customer is a draft until you approve it, and every action sits on a record you can see and undo. The only things Blue does on its own are internal: spotting unbilled jobs, building reports, organizing data. Red, our mechanic, watches every deployment and catches problems before they reach your customers.

Where does my data live?

On a box at your shop and in your own accounts: your books, your email, your calendar. Nothing trains anyone else’s AI, and we never sell, share or rent your data. The box is Forge equipment we provide and maintain; the data on it is yours.

How is this different from QuickBooks AI or ChatGPT?

Those live inside one app and answer questions. Blue does the work across your books, email, calendar and texts (drafts the invoice, follows up the quote, files the ticket), and it learns your business: your prices, your customers, your patterns.

What does setup look like?

One visit, about two hours. We bring a Forge-provided Mac mini set up for your business, connect Blue to your books and email with one-time sign-ins (we never see your passwords), and show you how to text Blue. Your first morning briefing arrives the next day.

What if I cancel, or Forge goes away?

We pick up the box, and your data stays where it always lived: in your accounting, your inbox and your calendar. Nothing held hostage, nothing destroyed.

What does it cost?

It depends on what Blue takes on for you, so we shape the number on the discovery call rather than guess here. The short version: it’s meaningfully less than a part-time bookkeeper, month-to-month or annual, with no early-termination fee.

Your next step

You run the company. Your crew runs the jobs. Blue runs the rest.

Tell us a little about your business and we’ll set up a discovery call. No pressure and no pitch, just a conversation about whether Blue is the right hire for your operation.

We reply within one business day. Your details go to Zack and Ashley, nowhere else.
