Blue by Forge is an AI operations assistant for small businesses, built by Forge AI LLC. It drafts quotes, estimates and invoices, schedules work and appointments, follows up on quotes that have gone quiet, and answers the owner's questions about their schedule, jobs and cash flow — over ordinary iMessage and email.

To do that work inside the tools a business already uses, Blue asks permission to connect to Gmail and Google Calendar. Access is granted by the account owner through Google's standard consent screen, and can be revoked at any time from forgefurther.ai/disconnect.

What Blue requests, and why

View your email messages and settings

gmail.readonly — Blue reads incoming mail so it can recognize the things a business needs to act on: a new customer inquiry, a signed agreement coming back from an e-signature service, a supplier or subcontractor confirmation, or a receipt that belongs on a job. Without read access Blue cannot tell an inquiry from a newsletter, and the owner goes back to sorting the inbox by hand.

Manage drafts and send emails

gmail.compose — Blue prepares replies, estimates and invoices as Gmail drafts. Drafts are how the owner reviews Blue's work before a customer ever sees it; nothing leaves as a draft without approval.

Send email on your behalf

gmail.send — once the owner approves a draft, Blue sends it from the business's own address, so the customer receives it in the existing conversation thread rather than from an unfamiliar sender.

See and download any calendar you can access

calendar.readonly — Blue reads the business's job and appointment calendars to find genuinely open time and to avoid double-booking a crew or a technician. Reading is separate from writing on purpose: the majority of Blue's calendar work is answering "when are we free?", which needs no write access at all.

View and edit events on all your calendars

calendar.events — once work is confirmed, Blue puts it on the calendar the team already looks at, and updates or moves it when a job is rescheduled. Scoped to events rather than full calendar administration: Blue never needs to create, delete or share calendars themselves.

Limited Use commitments

Blue by Forge's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

Where the data lives

Blue runs on a dedicated computer at the customer's own place of business. Email and calendar data read from Google is processed there to carry out the tasks above and is not pooled with other customers' data. Retention, deletion and the full list of processors are described in our Privacy Policy and Subprocessors page.

Revoking access

Access can be withdrawn at any time, without contacting us first, from your Google Account permissions page or by following the steps at forgefurther.ai/disconnect. Revocation takes effect immediately and stops all further reads and writes.
